Students have to dig deeper and deeper into their pockets for their shared room. The average cost of living is currently 414 euros per month. Previously, the average room price was between 389 and 400 euros per month. Munich is at the top of the list when it comes to the price of a room in a shared flat: In the Bavarian capital, students currently pay 680 euros per month for a room in a shared flat.
