Companies or individuals who have created detailed safety solutions, innovative products, concepts for ergonomic working or resource-saving technologies that make working on construction sites and in construction-related services safer have until Monday, August 1, to apply for the 2022 EuroTest Prize of the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the construction industry (BG Bau).
An expert jury consisting of members of international testing institutes and representatives of universities, industry associations and BG BAU selects the winners. The prize, which has been awarded every three years since 2001, will be presented on Tuesday, October 25, at the 33rd "bauma", the world's leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment in Munich.
"Hazards should always be eliminated at source. Technical protective measures and safe products make a decisive contribution to this. With our EuroTest Award, we promote such innovations and recognize the best developments for more safety on construction sites," says Bernhard Arenz, Head of the Prevention Department at BG BAU.
