Anyone with questions about the calculation tool for self-assessment by system operators in accordance with Section 29 of the Electricity Price Brake Act (StromPBG) can now seek advice from experts at the German Energy Agency (dena). The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) has commissioned the establishment of a corresponding hotline there.
In April, system operators relevant to the levy receive a letter from the transmission system operators. In this letter, they will be asked to register in the respective portals of the transmission system operators. They are expected to be able to report their data from June.
They must submit the data for the first levy period (December 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023) to the transmission system operator by July 31 at the latest. Plant operators relevant to the levy with questions can call the free hotline Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on 0800-78 88 900.
