The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Die Moderne Küche (AMK) knows how owners or tenants can use the niche between the kitchen worktop. There are several design options for the niche, starting with the choice of niche splashback. For example, glass, glass laminate or real wood can be chosen.
So-called railing or organization systems can then be installed on the back wall of the niche, in which kitchen utensils such as cutlery, spice jars or storage containers can be stored. Rail systems are also available and there are holders for wine glasses, towels and charging areas for smartphones and iPads.
Owners and tenants can also play with the lighting. According to AMK, there are wall shelves with built-in LED light strips, illuminated system shelves or modular design railing systems with optional LED light guidance. Installing systems on niche rear walls not only saves space, but also creates visual highlights.
