The Hamburg-based agency for financial and corporate communications Kirchhoff Consult AG recently published the "Real Estate Stock Sentiment Indicator 2023". The sentiment indicator shows that analysts' basic sentiment remains at a low level of 3.8 points (H1 2023). Previously (H2 2022), analysts' basic sentiment was still at 4.5 points, with the possible scale covering a range of -100 to +100 points.
Analyst sentiment for residential real estate stocks stands at 11.5 points. This is 2.3 points less than in the second half of 2022. Analyst sentiment for commercial real estate stocks reached a value of 7.7 points. This is 9.1 points less than in the second half of 2022. In addition to the basic sentiment of analysts, the sentiment of company representatives is also recorded.
Their basic sentiment stands at 11.4 points (-2.3 points compared to H2 2022). The sentiment for commercial real estate stocks among company representatives is -2.3 points, compared to -4.5 points in the second half of 2022. The sentiment for residential real estate shares among company representatives is 11.4 points. There is therefore no difference compared to the second half of 2022, which also stood at 11.4 points.
