Privacy screen in the garden or on the terrace

If you want to relax on your terrace or in your own garden, you should strive for a good privacy screen. After all, you can only really let yourself go if you are undisturbed by strangers' glances and are not distracted by passers-by or what is happening on the street or the neighboring property. Then residents can sunbathe, barbecue or sink into an exciting book on their own property.

A privacy screen can be designed, for example, from plants and shrubs, wood or stones. The financial means and the size of the terrace and garden play just as decisive a role as the appearance. A particularly inexpensive variant and a good visual protection offers, for example, a wooden fence. This is quickly built and can be embellished with climbing plants and provide better sound insulation. A wall made of woven willow also offers a beautiful wooden look and at the same time consists of a natural and environmentally friendly raw material. For plant lovers, a plant shelf is particularly suitable, because here there are no limits to a colorful selection of plants. It is important that the plants receive enough sun and water and that the water can drain away well.

If you have a little more space in your garden, you can build an elegant rose arch with fragrant climbing roses or erect high garden walls, for example, from beech or yew hedges. A stone wall not only provides a good privacy screen, but can likewise be embellished with colorful rock garden plants for a natural look. Other options for a privacy screen on the terrace or in the garden are bamboo hedges, planting ornamental grasses or a lilac hedge. An erected wall wall with an integrated fireplace will look elegant and cozy.
