Modern energy-saving lamps are characterized by a good eco-balance and have a long service life. Whether with a large or small screw thread, a plug-in base with thick or thin pins, there is a suitable LED bulb for every lampshade or spotlight. The test results say that even small, inexpensive lamps with 230 or 12 volts, ceiling floods or tubes can achieve the best results. Of 113 LED lamps tested, 78 percent achieved the quality rating "Good" or "Very good". In addition, the test results show that expensive products and well-known manufacturer names cannot necessarily be equated with high quality.
However, an average of one in ten lamps received a poor rating because they burned worse than specified by the manufacturers right from the start of use and did not withstand the endurance test of 1,500 hours.
