Cannabis smell: Neighbor dispute ends up in the district court

In Frankfurt am Main, two neighbors got into a fight because of the smell of cannabis. But what had happened? One evening, the smell of cannabis drifted into a man's apartment. He then went out onto the balcony to talk to his neighbor.

However, the latter denied everything. When the man then announced that he would involve the landlord, his neighbor first said, "Then come over and we'll sort it out like men." The man then announced that he was going to call the police and was told in response, "If you do that, I'll get five guys and they'll make you go away." The police who were called over also noticed the smell of cannabis and found, among other things, so-called longpapers.

The man who had been threatened finally filed a so-called application for protection against violence at the Frankfurt Main District Court. With success: The neighbor is now not allowed to approach him for six months. Otherwise he faces an administrative fine of up to 250,000 euros or even imprisonment.
