Under the "Modernize" tab, interested parties will find a tool in which they can once again choose between "Renovate for energy efficiency" and "Create living space. Under "Energetic refurbishment", for example, planned modernization measures such as "modernizing the heating system", "insulating exterior walls" and "renewing windows" appear. If these are selected, the costs appear.
Under "Creating living space", interested parties can still obtain information on the costs of new living space. Among other things, they can find out how much it costs to extend the cellar, add a conservatory or extend the roof. The portal uses calculators from various sources for this purpose and points out that the costs may ultimately vary - for example, due to differences in materials.
