Companies or individuals who have created detailed safety solutions, innovative products, concepts for ergonomic working or resource-saving technologies that make working on construction sites and in construction-related services safer can apply for the EuroTest Award 2022 of the German Employer's Liability Insurance Association for the Construction Industry (BG Bau) until Monday, August 1.
An expert jury consisting of members of international testing institutes and representatives of universities, industry associations and BG BAU selects the winners. The award, which has been presented every three years since 2001, will be presented on Tuesday, October 25, at bauma, the 33rd World's Leading Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment, in Munich.
"Hazards should always be eliminated directly at the source. Technical protective measures and safe products make a decisive contribution to this. With our EuroTest Award, we promote such innovations and honor the best developments for more safety on construction sites," says Bernhard Arenz, head of the Prevention Department at BG BAU.
