So-called railing or organization systems can then be installed on the back wall of the niche, in which kitchen gadgets such as cutlery, spice jars or storage containers can be stored. Rail systems are also available, and there are holders for wine glasses, towels and charging areas for smartphones and iPads, among other things.
Owners and tenants can also play with the lighting. According to AMK, for example, there are wall shelves with built-in LED light strips, illuminated system shelves or modular design railing systems with optional LED light guidance. Installing systems on niche backsplashes not only saves space, but also adds visual highlights.
