Whether it's a ceiling solution for a multi-storey timber construction, a dry stacking system for masonry bricks or a smart bike parking system - the German Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMUV), the Federal Environment Agency (UBA) and the International Design Centre Berlin (IDZ) have announced the 28 nominees for the Federal Ecodesign Award 2022.
Interested parties can get an impression of the nominees and their projects at bundespreis-ecodesign.de/en/winners/nominierte-2022 and view the environmentally friendly creations of designers, companies and students from Germany and Europe.
The winner of the Federal Ecodesign Award 2022 will be decided by a jury with members from the fields of politics, product design and the environment. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Monday, December 5, by Federal Environment Minister Steffi Lemke. They will each receive cash prizes of 1,000 euros.
