KfW offers subsidies for the installation of climate-friendly heating systems in private residential properties. Interested parties can find out about the requirements and details on the KfW website and register in the customer portal from Thursday, February 1, to submit funding applications.
From the end of February (probably Tuesday, February 27), owners of single-family homes can apply for grants to replace their heating systems via the "Meine KfW" customer portal, subject to certain conditions. For example, a contract with the company responsible for replacing the heating system must be available in addition to the funding application.
The maximum amount of eligible costs is 30,000 euros; the basic subsidy is 30 percent. Additional bonuses such as an efficiency and climate speed bonus can also be applied for. Those eligible can also apply for a supplementary KfW loan via their bank. In the course of the year, the promotion will also be extended to non-residential buildings.
