Teaching: Outstanding work honored

The German Facility Management Association (gefma) awarded prizes to university graduates for their theses at the end of 2023. Laura Beck from Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in Wolfenbüttel received the main prize for her master's thesis on Building Information Modeling (BIM) in facility management ("BIM@FM - Analysis of the requirements for BIM data for the targeted application of BIM models in facility management").

Cosima Zickgraf from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau was awarded a sponsorship prize in the category of personnel assessment for her Bachelor's thesis. In the "Key Account Management" category, Laura Huvermann from the Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences in Mühlheim an der Ruhr impressed the jury with her Master's thesis. In the "Building Automation" category, Marco Stolle from Nuremberg University of Applied Sciences Georg Simon Ohm was recognized for his master's thesis.

Katarzyna Zylla from the Wuppertal Technical Academy was the winner of the project work competition. She won the main prize for her project entitled "Digitalization as an opportunity to overcome the shortage of skilled workers in facility management". Andrea Gerg from the Bavarian Academy for Foreign Trade in Munich and Carola Wünsch from KG Protektor GmbH & Co. in Hamburg were also recognized for their outstanding project work.
