The Bundesverband Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau (BGL) has honored six young talents from the gardening and landscaping sector for their exceptional achievements in training and further education. The award winners are Nadine Kohler (Gartenbau Lang GmbH, VGL Baden-Württemberg), Michael Reindl (Haderstorfer Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau GmbH, VGL Bayern), Natalie Scholz (Meyer zu Hörste GmbH, VGL Niedersachsen-Bremen), David Kursawe (Kretschmer GmbH, VGL Niedersachsen-Bremen), Fabian Schmitz (Mock GmbH, VGL Rheinland-Pfalz and Saarland) and Nicole Wetzel (Albrecht Bühler - Baum und Garten GmbH, VGL Baden-Württemberg).
According to the Federal Association of Gardening, Landscaping and Sports Field Construction, the award winners are not only impressive in terms of their professional skills, but also stand out for their commitment to voluntary work. The BGL Education Prize, which was awarded for the eighth time in 2024, aims to make the profession of landscape gardener even better known and more attractive.
