The consumer advice center points out that customers can check their bills for electricity, gas and district heating from the past year. Corresponding price brakes applied, which is why there are some special features to bear in mind. For example, the December discount for gas and heating for private households and small and medium-sized enterprises was abolished.
To check that the annual bill is correct, the consumer advice center recommends checking the meter number, the initial and final meter readings and the new budget billing, among other things. Consumers can calculate whether the refunds are correct on the basis of the budget billing, taking into account the price brake and the relief amount. The consumer advice center provides corresponding examples.
