Hotline: dena advises plant operators

Anyone with questions about the calculation tool for self-assessment by plant operators in accordance with §29 of the Electricity Price Brake Act (StromPBG) can now get advice from experts at the German Energy Agency (dena). The Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) has commissioned the establishment of a corresponding hotline there.

In April, the transmission system operators will send a letter to the plant operators who are subject to the levy. In this letter, they will be asked to register in the respective portals of the transmission system operators. They are expected to be able to report their data from June.

They must submit the data for the first levy period (December 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023) to the transmission system operator by July 31 at the latest. Plant operators with questions about levies can reach the free hotline Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 0800-78 88 900.
