Building: Avoid planning errors with floor plans in 3-D

The creation of life-size floor plans on up to 200 square meters is offered by a company from Grünwald. Using special high-performance projectors, the founders Gissou and Lucas Nummer can, for example, project furniture and walls in real size onto a surface. All they need in advance, before construction begins, is a floor plan from the client.

After real-size furniture and walls have been projected onto the surface via software and app, they are recreated with cardboard boxes. This allows builders to get an impression of their future home. The life-size floor plans are primarily intended to prevent construction errors and additional costs during house construction.

For example, during the walk-through of the floor plan, builders can find out in which direction doors should best open. In addition to a complete house, builders can also have their kitchen planned by the company. This takes place at a so-called planning table.
