Which architect has created the best high-quality, innovative and sustainable facade between 2020 and 2022? This will now be determined by the Fachverband Baustoffe und Bauteile für vorgehängte hinterlüftete Fassaden (FVHF). Interested architects have until Friday, May 20, to apply for the "German Façade Award 2022", which is endowed with 5,000 euros.
A number of requirements must be met in order to participate: The projects must have been completed between January 1 and 2020 and before May 20, 2022, and must have been executed with so-called curtain ventilated facades (VHF) according to DIN 18516-1.
A jury of architecture and facade experts will select the winner at a ceremony on Thursday, September 29. Further information on the entry requirements is available at wettbewerbe-aktuell.de/DeutscherFassadenpreis2022.
